Two batches of graduates from AVPI (Authorized Version Primer Institute) have long joined the mainstream of Christianity and mingled back with their families, loved ones and churches. I am wondering if their manner of life or conversations influenced any of those that interacted with them. I heard a lot of positive feedbacks from the testimonies of some and maybe there were testimonies that were not heard but I am sure that God has taken notice of all of those things.

Not long ago, as I preached on the series of the Questions of the Lord Jesus Christ, as recorded in the Bible during His earthly ministry, I came across one in Matthew 13:51 – “Jesus saith unto them, have ye understood all these things?“ From the context of Matthew 13:45-48 we learned from these verses that Jesus was asking those that were listening to their understanding of the parables regarding the Kingdom of heaven. Jesus spent a lot of time explaining particularly and especially in those parables mentioned that judgment is coming. The disciples have been warned and that they may not have understood. The word “again” will just confirm this plainly that Jesus is trying to make His listeners understand what He was saying, HAVE YE UNDERSTOOD THESE THINGS? Now, of course, we know that He was speaking of the white throne judgment in Revelation10:11-15 and application wise, on this age of grace, the verses on Romans 14:10 and 2 Corinthians 5:10, all for the Judgment Seat of Christ for the believers.

One day, that day will surely come, and we, individually stand to be judged and give an account, 2 Corinthians 5:9-10 “wherefore we labour that whether present or absent, we may be accepted of Him. On verse 10,     for we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ that every one may receive the things done in his body, according to that he hath done, whether it be good or bad.

So, there will be a judgment of mankind as sure as death Hebrews9:27 “ And it is appointed unto men once to die but after this the JUDGMENT.

During this time of Judgment, there will be no tests, examinations, or quizzes to determine or required whether we have a passing grade or not. We will not be asked what we believe, doctrines we know and accept as true, but we will be called upon to give an account on what we did to our bodies whether it be good or bad. The accounting will prove what faith do we have and how much we know about our Saviour. The result of that judgment is irreversible event in the future.

All the options in life, directions, choices, decisions, thoughts, and time spent will be subjected to and under the meticulous scrutiny of that pure, Holy and righteous LIGHT penetrating judgment even to our souls. No one can escape this Judgment.

Now, in the present age while we can still redirect everything when we can answer the question of our Saviour, the Lord Jesus Christ, “HAVE YE UNDERSTOOD ALL OF THESE THINGS?” in affirmative, and when we have learned and applied all the things taught in AVPI classes in the real classroom of life, are we ready to face Him anytime?  Can we always stand for the truth when an opportunity is given to us and speak boldly the truths in the Bible? Job 28:28 “And unto man he said, Behold, the fear of the Lord, that is wisdom; and to depart from evil is understanding.” So after all, understanding is the application of what we knew and learned

May God grant us all what is prayed for in Philippians 1:9-11 “And this I pray that your love may abound yet more and more in knowledge and in all judgment,  That ye may approve things that are excellent; that ye may be sincere and without offense till the day of Christ; Being filled with the fruits of righteousness, which are by Jesus Christ, unto the glory and praise of God.” May we claim Philippians 1:21. “For to me to live is Christ, and to die is gain.” God bless us all.
